Hurricane Bill Breezes by Brighton Beach

In an attempt to beat the heat, F.I.B head out to Brighton Beach and was lucky enough to be there for this crazy epic tornado like storm that didn't seem to hit the rest of Brooklyn.

It was beautiful. If we weren't lucky enough to have shelter I probably wouldn't of enjoyed it so much....did anyone else experience this?!

Oh my. I was there Thursday evening and saw nothing of the sort - the hurricane had pushed the surf a lot higher than normal, but the sunset was amazing. I mean, this is amazing, but in that the-approach-of-the-aliens-from-Independence-Day kinda way.

Yes Brian it was like an apocolyptic science fiction movie! Luckily I was with people who also thought it was amazing and not like a rained out day at the beach...i saw the sunset later in south brooklyn and it was on FIRE!

Beautiful pics. Not even sure what I'm looking at, but I'm sure there's a message for us in it.
