I want to do a painting of this.
In the age of flat screens and Ipods, televisions and "boom boxes" are becoming obsolete. I have always loved drawing them. I can show you many a drawing going waaaay back. Anyway this duo plus car fender was found on Bond Street.

OMG! I have that boom box! with the same tape deck buttons missing!
Wow! You have a great eye for finds, and fabulous photographic skill. I just love finds that are full of irony and comic juxtapositions.
I tend to collect photos of signs. Some are quite funny. Some are very creative. Some are historic.
I bumped into your blog because you made the list on the dashboard. Pretty cool. Glad I stopped by.

love the painting idea, mate.
Good work
So true!! The sleeker the better, it seems!
Come on dude...
I wonder why you would like to paint this old and ugly shit...
By the way, who will like to use your horrible pictures without permission, even with permission I guess would be difficult to find a volunteer...
call it the worlds waiste
Love the idea. I still have one of these old banger TV's while they are starting to become an extinct kind. It's a great painting idea and I look forward to seeing it.
What medium and how do you plan to draw or illustrate this scene?
That's a great theme. From the photograph, it seems pretty iconic, like something you'd see in some modern-art travelling exhbibit.
I doono about painting!! But i remeber last week I throwed my friends Walkman ,since we all have ipod and other mp3 players :)
that would really make a great painting.
